From time to time we run educational and/or fundraising events. We'll do our best to put them here and on our Facebook page. Events are normally free, though we will ask for donations to help keep us running. 

Want to learn first aid and emergency care for sick and injured hedgehogs?

Vale Wildlife Hospital is bringing their excellent 1-day course to Frome Town Hall on Saturday 14th March 2025

Perfect for hedgehog carers, rescue volunteers, vets and vet nurses.

You'll learn essential emergency and rehabilitation skills including initial assessment, wound care, fluid therapy (with hands-on practice), parasite management, diet, rehabilitation and release. Plus legal aspects and staying safe from zoonoses.

Please note: This course includes graphic images of hedgehog injuries and uses cadavers for practical training. It's a clinical first aid course, not suitable for children.
